Meet Your Host — Bonnie Peterson

Before I ever hosted a guest, I grew up around a little white playhouse my grandfather built for my mom. It wasn't fancy, but it was full of imagination, laughter, and belonging.

Years later, when I bought my first nightly rental, I hired a property manager and quickly realized I was making less than I expected. So I decided to learn the business myself. I built simple systems, handled the late-night surprises, mastered guest messaging, and turned one townhouse into a consistent five-star, fully booked stay.

I named it Our Play House — in honor of that tiny backyard house that started it all.

Today, I help homeowners take back control of their rentals through my No Vacancy course. I teach practical systems, confident hosting, and how to stop giving away 30% of your income to a property manager.

From playhouse memories to fully booked calendars — I became the hostess with the mostess by caring deeply and running my rental like a real business.
